SHAC Wooden Toys –

SHAC Wooden Toys –

Hi there fellow Shackers and friends!

Thanks for popping in. We’re headed up to Create & Craft again today, to set up in good time for tomorrow’s fabby BRAND NEW LAUNCH at 9am. You may remember when we drew the deer and the tree in the SHAC together? Well, we added a Choirboy and an Angel to the mix – and we have ourselves a wonderful Wooden Toy Collection. Then we came up with another idea. How about little apertures, like little doors underneath? So we designed the dies to match the images, but in such a way that the apertures open like doors. If you want. Or not. Your choice x Very, very cool.

Have a look at the 4 images, then I will show you some open/closed cards . And by the way, the stampsets are packed with little filler stamps and scene building stamps, which are mostly interchangeable too. Hours of creative enjoyment.

Wooden Toys Stamp & Die Collection

Here are the stampsets. Our very clever Jazz designed all these. Aren’t they delightful?!

We’re also getting out one of our little alphabets, because the little doors are begging to be personalised!

This one, from the GNOMES x CLICK HERE to investigate.

There are some other lovely stampsets on the show, which we drew together in the SHAC….

SHAC Baubles

SHAC About Town and SHAC Funky Houses. I really enjoyed drawing these. Do you remember?

I’ve got loads of tricks and tips to share with you on Friday at 9 and 1, so I hope you have time to join us on Create & Craft.

In the meantime, enjoy the summer!

Love always

  1. Oh, wow! Barb, these look so amazing! Their origin in the SHAC was pretty special, and now they are definitely must haves for the Christmas stash! Jazz has weaved her magic again in some special stamp sets. Brilliant!
Safe journey and travel gently. Have a couple of great shows, looking forward to your tips and tricks, as always! 😊 What’s that I hear – the sound of festive doors blowing off? 🤣👍🏻

  2. Morning Barb, what a fabulous idea, and such great designs. Looking forward to the shows. Going to set record now before I forget. Travel safely. Bx

  3. These Shac drawings look fabulous as stamps, well done Jazz. I won’t be able to watch as I’m in Greece but will hopefully be able to catch up upon my return.

  4. Another set of amazing designs by Jazz! I particularly love the little elements and borders.
Looking through the examples from the DT, one in particular caught my eye – the baubles with the blue and green slashed lines. How is that background created – by a gel plate or is it a stamp? I’ve got to try that.

  5. I loved joining in with the Shac when drawing the wooden toys. Thank you Barbara for a great idea.
Jazz has done it again as too the DT.
I need to record the C&C shows as unable to watch live – just hoping it works this time.
With artwork like this the shows should be very successful.

  6. Looking forward to seeing what the new dies & stamps do, nice to see our SHAC doodles once more been made into products for everyone to enjoy.
A bit cooler this afternoon so hope your journey north wasn’t too problematic, there was talk on the traffic news of problems around the Dartford Tunnel but don’t know that area too well to know which way it was – north or south direction.

  7. Amazing to look at these now, knowing we drew them all in the Shac. Well done Jaz. Hard to choose which ones to order. Safe journey Barb and good luck with the shows

  8. When I first saw the new stamps and dies this morning my reaction reminded me of Keith Brymer Jones when he admires work and values the talent involved. Everything is so lovely Barbara, it will be a real pleasure to own this collection. Thank you for all you do xx
